Roy Long - Head of Research
Roy is a graduate of the US Navy Nuclear Power School and served in the US Navy as a Chief Reactor Auxiliaries’ Operator aboard the USS Enterprise CVAN 65. Staff Instructor at the National Reactor Testing Facility in Idaho Roy Long has over 40 years of Power Plant Operations and Maintenance experience. As a commercial biomass power Plant Manager, he has successfully managed millions of dollars of power plant operations, repair, and construction effort. It was during this phase of his career (~2010) he started inventing and making countless prototypes of what we now call the E-RAMP™ |
Matthew A. Simmons - CEO
Matthew started his business and technical journey as a 12 year old boy in 1983 building and selling loudspeakers progressively evolving his enterprise into what is now known as Arvus International, an innovator in a wide range of technologies for almost forty years. A self-taught multidisciplinary engineer, patented inventor and entrepreneur who loves to build powerful teams, Matthew has co-founded other companies including Nyriad, Inc (est. 2015) a disruptive solution for fast & resilient data storage using CPUs, GPUs and persistent memory. In 2011-2013 he was CEO of New Zealand's Clean Energy Centre where he nurtured his passion for energy production ultimately finding affinity with the potential of Nuclear energy. |
Dr. Junaid Razvi - Chief Nuclear Officer
Junaid worked at General Atomics for almost 40 years where he had roles in design, licensing, construction, operation and utilization of nuclear reactors, nuclear fuel manufacturing and radioisotope processing facilities. With extensive experience across the scientific, policy, regulatory and economic spectrum of the industry Junaid led a joint U.S.-Russia program to develop the advanced modular GEN-IV gas-cooled reactor technology in Russia. This involved multiple US & Russian partners, including a technology transfer consistent with U.S., Russia bilateral treaties for the dismantling nuclear weapons. Junaid also led direction of General Atomics' worldwide business activities related to its renowned TRIGA® nuclear reactors with installations in 23 nations. Since 2018, Junaid has been actively advising to several enterprises advancing the nuclear sector. |
Stephanie Fast - CFO
Stephanie is our founding Chief Finance and Operations Officer, and Secretary and Treasurer on the Board of Directors. She has been pivotal in shaping the corporate and organizational framework of the company, positioning it for significant growth. Stephanie brings a passion for cross function systems thinking with a meticulous understanding of the details that she developed during her career in Investment Banking with Bear Stearns, while leading debt and equity transactions for clients in the Southwest. As CFO and COO of A Glimmer of Hope, an international non-profit, for 12 years, she utilized those skills to institute systematic modernization across the organization, from developing optimization models with Ethiopian national partners to double annual productivity to implementation of an integrated, multi-country tech stack. Because she understood how technology can transform non-profits’ operations, she then took a role as President of the Impact Partners team with Social Solutions (now Bonterra), where she developed grant programs with funders to accelerate tech adoption for non-profits. |

Alan Boehme - Independent Director
Alan has over 25 years business experience at the CXO level having held the Global CTO and SVP of innovation roles for companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Coca-Cola, H&M Group as well as various CIO and SVP of emerging technology and other positions with companies such as ING, Juniper Networks, GE Energy and others. Alan is recognized as an authority and frequent speaker on the strategic application of Information technology to drive revenue growth, service quality, improve production, and cost while approaching and solving problems from a business/technology perspective. |
Dr. Peter Crabtree - Independent Director
Peter has had a career that has spanned commercial, government and research sectors. In his 20+ years working in the New Zealand Government he had leadership roles across policy, science, enterprise and health. He also led the establishment of the NZ Space Agency leading the policy and operational arrangement to enable orbital space launch (initially Rocket Lab and provisioning for broader activity) as well as rapid development of the New Zealand commercial space sector and government demand. Peter then ran the NZ Space agency for over 5 years. He then founded an innovation strategy consulting company. As well as his Directorship role in Stargena, Peter is currently Chair of Zenno Astronautics (space), Chair of BioOra (cell therapy) and Director at 21e8 (computational data markets). |
Dr. William J. Raduchel - Independent Director
Bill has been on the leading edge of technology innovation for over six decades, as chronicled in his memoir, The Bleeding Edge. He has held senior roles at AOL Time Warner, AOL, Sun Microsystems, Xerox, McGraw Hill and Data Resources, Inc. earning recognition in various CFO and CTO roles. For eleven years he taught corporate strategy at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He earned his Ph.D. in econometrics at Harvard and taught there prior to starting his industry career at the Institute for Defense Analyses. He has served as chair of Opera Software and on several other public boards: Niku, Chordiant, Silicon Image and Blackboard. He has extensive experience chairing both audit and compensation committees and was chair of audit for two IPOs. He has over 50 issued and pending U.S. patents and recently published The New Technology State commenting on our current relationship with technology. In addition to Stargena, he is a director of LiveIntent and Curriki as a well as strategic advisor to Scenera. |
Bernard Frieder - Board Advisor
Bernard has forty years’ experience in Silicon Valley, London, Israel, and Nigeria, et al, as an entrepreneur, an advisor to, and investor in emerging technology companies. For eight years, Bernard was Director of Emerging Technologies, for the Office of the e-Envoy (OEE) in the UK Cabinet Office during Tony Blair’s tenure. His remit included informing and advising the OEE, Prime Minister’s Office, HM Treasury, senior Ministers and Members of Parliament, and the Department of Trade & Industry regarding global trends on current and future technologies, and the potential impacts on UK policy and industry, investment capital and new venture support. Bernard advised hundreds of early-stage UK companies target the US market and assisted US companies seeking partners and acquisitions in the UK. Mr Frieder has particular expertise in identifying disruptors and advising the teams that drive those ideas to market, moving technology companies across borders to create new markets and solve old/new problems. |
Bob Gourley - Board Advisor
Bob is an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO), author and entrepreneur with extensive past performance in enterprise IT, corporate cybersecurity and data analytics. Bob's career included 20 years as a Naval Intelligence Officer where he pioneered the concept of cyber threat intelligence. He would later become the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the Defense Intelligence Agency. Bob has received the Infoworld top CTO award and was named one of the top 100 “Tech Titans” in DC by Washingtonian magazine. Bob has created three successful consulting practices. At OODA Bob focuses on corporate growth and strategy consulting and security services for high tech businesses. Bob has balanced his time as a hands-on practitioner with academic rigor, with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, and Masters degrees in National Security Affairs, History and Computer Science. |

Dr. Russell Boyce
Since his PhD in Physics (in Hypersonics) at the Australian National University, Russell has had a career that spans three decades in high-speed aeronautics, aerospace technology R&D and industry leadership. He devised and led the high profile 14-partner international hypersonics technology development program SCRAMSPACE, which included a flagship rocket-launched scramjet flight test. While he was the Defence Science and Technology Organisation Chair for Hypersonics at the University of Queensland, Russell played a key role in the establishment of the Australian Space Agency. He was also Chair for Intelligent Space Systems and Director of UNSW Canberra Space at the University of New South Wales, was lead co-founder of the successful space company Skykraft, and is a Fellow at the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics. |

Andrew is a successful engineer, entrepreneur and technical expert with extensive experience experience in the nuclear energy, radiopharmaceutical and high-hazard sectors. A founder and Board member of PanMediso Holdings Limited (a company set-up to produce life-changing cancer therapy), a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, an advisor to UK government and a Fellow of both the Institute of Chemical Engineers and Institute of Directors. Andrew is passionate about building strong teams to support the commercialization of critical energy and health solutions. |
Sir Robin William Grimes
In 2017 Robin was appointed to the United Kingdoms' Ministry of Defense Nuclear as Chief Scientific Adviser for nuclear science and technology. With primary research interests in the application and development of computer simulation techniques to predict structural and dynamic properties of ceramics and metals he is the current Steele Chair of Energy Materials at Imperial College London. From February 2013 to August 2018 he served as chief scientific adviser to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and the Royal Academy of Engineering. |
